Program Format

The welcome drinks

Held offsite at Riverside Parramatta the evening before day one. Many delegates travel to the conference and arrive the day before; the welcome drinks give them a chance to reconnect with friends, meet new people, and arrive into day one with familiar faces already in the room.

Day one

Day one opens with a keynote address that sets the tone for the conference. From there, the day moves into concurrent breakout sessions — three or more running in parallel at any given time. Concurrent programming lets delegates build a path through the conference that matches their interests, role, and sector.

Day one closes with a closing keynote, followed by networking drinks at the Field Club.

Networking drinks at the Field Club

Networking drinks are held at the Field Club, a function space at CommBank Stadium that opens out onto the level of the field. Weather permitting, delegates unwind in the stadium with a drink in hand, sharing learnings and connecting with industry peers.

Day two

Day two follows a similar pattern to day one, with concurrent breakout sessions running across the day and the exhibition floor open throughout. The conference closes with a final keynote, followed immediately by the scholarship draw.

The International Scholarship Draw

Immediately following the closing keynote on day two, we draw the winners of our international scholarship opportunities: places at one of our international partner conferences: the INTIX Conference in the United States, run by the International Ticketing Association, or the Ticketing Professionals Conference in the United Kingdom. Both are significant international gatherings, and the scholarships give Australian delegates a meaningful opportunity to take their learning further on a global stage.

What winners bring back is the point — case studies, conversations, fresh thinking from peers solving the same problems in different markets. The scholarships are part of how Ticketing Australia helps foster innovation and a global outlook within the Australian live experiences industry.

The exhibition floor

The exhibition floor runs through both conference days and sits at the physical centre of the venue. It’s where delegates see new technology, get demos of ticketing platforms, connect with the latest trends, and have meaningful conversations with local and international vendors.
